The Opportunity:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will support students with complex needs, helping them reintegrate into mainstream lessons. This is a key role in a school committed to growth, innovation, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with complex needs in Bridge and mainstream provision.
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences tailored to individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
- Develop and implement individual learning plans in line with school and Trust objectives.
- Promote positive behaviour and a strong ethos based on shared values.
- Contribute to the development of the school’s culture and community.
- Assist in the smooth running of lessons and school activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to the school’s values and ethos.
Preferred
- Experience working with students with complex needs, including behavioural and SEND.
- Experience within a multi-cultural and multi-faith setting.
- Familiarity with the Cranmer Education Trust or similar educational institutions.
- Experience in a growing school or trust environment.
