The Opportunity:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will support students with complex needs, helping them reintegrate into mainstream lessons. This is a key role in a school committed to growth, innovation, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with complex needs in Bridge and mainstream provision.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences tailored to individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Develop and implement individual learning plans in line with school and Trust objectives.
  • Promote positive behaviour and a strong ethos based on shared values.
  • Contribute to the development of the school’s culture and community.
  • Assist in the smooth running of lessons and school activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to the school’s values and ethos.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with complex needs, including behavioural and SEND.
  • Experience within a multi-cultural and multi-faith setting.
  • Familiarity with the Cranmer Education Trust or similar educational institutions.
  • Experience in a growing school or trust environment.
