Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons across a range of ages and abilities.
• Develop and implement engaging and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Support students in developing a deep understanding of Science concepts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and departmental goals.
• Participate in professional development and continuing teacher education programs.
• Provide pastoral care and support to students as needed.
• Stay up to date with current Science research and pedagogical practices.
• Contribute to the wider school community through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Science Teacher with relevant teaching experience.
• Experience teaching across a range of age groups and abilities.
• Strong subject knowledge in Science, with a preference for Physics and/or Chemistry.
• Commitment to the school’s values of respect, responsibility, and readiness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology in Science education.
• Experience in co-curricular or extra-curricular program delivery.
