The Opportunity:

As a Teaching Assistant Level 3, you will play a key role in supporting the Achievement for All function, working closely with the SENDCO and HLTA. This is a dynamic and impactful role that will allow you to make a real difference in the lives of students and contribute to the continued development of a school in its final year of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery and development of the Achievement for All function in collaboration with the SENDCO and HLTA.
  • Work with students, parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the needs of all learners are met.
  • Build strong relationships with students and colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and external partners to support student progress and development.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the school’s ethos and community engagement.
  • Provide high-quality support to students, ensuring they are empowered to achieve their full potential.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of targeted interventions and support strategies.
  • Support the school’s mission to become an outstanding provider for young people.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a similar teaching assistant role, ideally within a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for education.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varied demands of the role.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Experience in a school that is in its early stages of development.
  • Knowledge of Achievement for All strategies and practices.
  • Experience working within a multi-cultural and multi-faith environment.
  • Experience with collaborative working within a school trust or multi-academy trust.
