The Opportunity:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Positive Behaviour Support, you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour across the school and supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and their families, while working within a dedicated and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Class Teacher in the day-to-day running of the class.
• Lead and implement positive behaviour support strategies to reduce challenging behaviours.
• Collaborate with the family support officer to ensure effective communication with families.
• Deliver and identify staff training in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
• Work closely with the Pastoral Team to maintain consistent and effective behaviour support practices throughout the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• GCSE Maths and English qualification at minimum Grade 4 or equivalent.
• A relevant professional qualification or the ability to gain Level 3 in working with children and young people.

Preferred

• Level 3 qualification in working with children and young people.
• Qualifications in psychology or social care.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary range of £28,249 - £31,465, depending on qualifications.
• £2,000 welcome bonus for candidates with SEN experience.
• Term-time only working hours with 40 hours per week.
