The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a Hindi Teacher Year 8 Specialist to deliver engaging lessons that inspire a love for language and literature. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ learning and cultural awareness within a dynamic, high-performing academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, learner-centred Hindi lessons across all key stages.
  • Teach Hindi Language and Literature in alignment with the Cambridge International Curriculum standards.
  • Foster critical thinking, analytical interpretation, and a genuine appreciation for reading and writing.
  • Employ effective differentiation strategies and innovative teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Design and implement assessments aligned with Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, and A Level standards.
  • Support and mentor students through literary clubs, debate teams, public speaking forums, and creative writing activities.
  • Participate in department meetings, planning sessions, CPD activities, and whole school initiatives.
  • Uphold the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi or a related discipline.
  • Recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed. or equivalent).
  • Proven experience of 3 years teaching from Foundation Stage to Year 8.
  • Experience in an international or premium school environment, ideally following the Cambridge curriculum.

Preferred

  • Excellent command of spoken and written Hindi.
  • Exposure to international education standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Well organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy, patience, and a nurturing approach to working with students.
