The Opportunity:

We are seeking an inspired and forward-thinking Inclusion Teacher (Key Stage 3 Specialist) to support students with diverse learning needs. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every student can access learning, thrive academically, and develop socially and emotionally within an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualised, small-group, and in-class support to students with identified SEN, learning differences, or additional needs.
• Implement evidence-based interventions in literacy, numeracy, executive functioning, and social-emotional learning.
• Support classroom teachers in differentiating instruction and adapting teaching strategies.
• Promote student engagement, confidence, resilience, and independence in learning.
• Use assistive technologies and strategies to enhance access to learning.
• Facilitate inclusive classroom practices for meaningful student participation.
• Support positive behaviour through clear routines and restorative approaches.
• Develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) with clear, measurable learning targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an inclusion or SEN role, preferably in a Cambridge curriculum or international school setting.
• Strong grasp of inclusive teaching strategies and safeguarding practices.

Preferred

• Experience working with Inclusion policies and Indian educational regulations.
• Understanding of EYFS principles and child-centred, play-based learning approaches.
