Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Psychology lessons aligned with the AQA A Level syllabus.
- Develop and implement effective curriculum materials to support student learning.
- Promote a love of Psychology through inspiring and challenging teaching practices.
- Support students in developing research methods and statistical skills relevant to the subject.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental culture and raise attainment.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities, including clubs, societies, and revision sessions.
- Foster a culture of practical experiments and high academic standards.
- Work as a team member within the department and across the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A good degree in an appropriate subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching Psychology at KS5 level.
- Strong knowledge of psychological theory and research methods.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their potential.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language.
- Demonstrable understanding of statistics in Psychology.
- Experience in developing and delivering curriculum materials.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
