Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5 in History and English at Key Stage 3.
• Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated teaching and assessment strategies.
• Contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of the curriculum.
• Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and collaborative planning sessions.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Engage in extracurricular activities and contribute to the school’s wider community.
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and colleagues.
• Stay up to date with developments in the subject and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in History and English at Key Stage 3.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences and student progress.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the school’s vision.
• Willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities within the school.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching History across Key Stages 3 to 5.
• Experience in teaching English at Key Stage 3.
