The Opportunity:

As an HR Administrator, you will be central to supporting the school’s mission by managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality HR support across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job descriptions, vacancy postings, and interview coordination.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes in line with Trust procedures.
  • Administer payroll, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with Trust policies.
  • Input and maintain accurate data in HR systems such as Arbor and Access.
  • Handle pre-employment checks, including DBS, Right to Work, and medical documentation.
  • Support HR processes such as probation, appraisals, and investigations.
  • Prepare standard HR letters and manage the Sponsorship Management System (SMS).
  • Monitor and manage HR inboxes and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • At least 2 years of experience in a HR Generalist or administrative role.
  • L3 CIPD qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple school sites.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a Multi-Academy Trust or partnership of schools.
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as Arbor and Access.
  • Experience with payroll administration.
  • Knowledge of safer recruitment policies and procedures.
