The Opportunity:

As an HR Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support across recruitment and HR functions, ensuring seamless service delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, values-driven environment and wants to make a meaningful impact on the school’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the recruitment process by managing candidate communications and interview scheduling.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the HR team, including maintaining employee records and managing HR systems.
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from staff, managers, and schools.
  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of new employees, ensuring compliance with HR policies.
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs and events.
  • Support the Recruitment Manager and HR Systems Specialist as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation and reports.
  • Ensure all HR processes are carried out in line with school policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably within education.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in using HR management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience in recruitment administration.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Familiarity with DBS and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience working in a multi-site or independent school environment.
