The Opportunity:
As an HR Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support across recruitment and HR functions, ensuring seamless service delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, values-driven environment and wants to make a meaningful impact on the school’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the recruitment process by managing candidate communications and interview scheduling.
- Provide administrative assistance to the HR team, including maintaining employee records and managing HR systems.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from staff, managers, and schools.
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of new employees, ensuring compliance with HR policies.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs and events.
- Support the Recruitment Manager and HR Systems Specialist as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation and reports.
- Ensure all HR processes are carried out in line with school policies and legal requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably within education.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using HR management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience in recruitment administration.
- Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Familiarity with DBS and safeguarding procedures.
- Experience working in a multi-site or independent school environment.
