The Opportunity:

As an HR Manager, you will provide HR leadership across multiple schools and support the Shared Services Team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the people agenda within education, while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and advise on HR processes, ensuring compliance with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of staff across multiple schools.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the school’s mission and values.
  • Analyse HR data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure effective HR policies and practices.
  • Ensure all HR documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and securely maintained.
  • Work proactively to address HR issues and provide solutions under pressure.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in HR management within an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of compliant recruitment and HR procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Confident in providing advice and support to others.

Preferred

  • Experience in managing HR for multiple schools or departments.
  • Familiarity with initial teacher training and staff development programmes.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of education sector HR challenges and solutions.
