The Opportunity:

We are seeking an HR Officer and Personal Assistant to the Headteacher to support the Headteacher and manage all HR operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your HR expertise while contributing to the smooth running of a successful and forward-thinking institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level managerial, secretarial, administrative, and clerical support to the Headteacher.
  • Manage and coordinate all HR matters, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential personnel records.
  • Support recruitment activities, including candidate selection and onboarding.
  • Coordinate school events and ensure efficient communication across the institution.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in HR procedures, including recruitment and employee management.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with school-related software such as SIMS or Arbor.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in calendar management and scheduling.
  • Knowledge of educational policies and procedures.
