The Opportunity:
As an HR Transformation Lead, you will lead the discovery, design, and implementation of a new HR and Payroll system. This role is pivotal in ensuring the transformation delivers long-term value with minimal disruption, supporting the school’s mission and future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough review of existing HR policies, processes, and employment contracts to identify areas for improvement and standardisation.
- Map and review employee types, roles, and associated terms and conditions to highlight inconsistencies and gaps.
- Benchmark current HR practices against sector best practice to drive impactful change.
- Collaborate on the design of efficient, user-centred HR workflows that reflect current and future needs.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and access controls are embedded in system and workflow design.
- Contribute to the testing of workflows and system functionality, ensuring all processes work as intended.
- Develop and deliver engaging content and presentations to support informed decision-making across the organisation.
- Act as an ambassador for the transformation programme, building user buy-in and confidence in the new system.
- Design and deliver training sessions tailored to different user groups, ensuring all staff feel confident and supported.
- Support the embedding of change post-go-live, monitoring adoption, and addressing issues to ensure long-term success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in HR systems implementations or transformation projects.
- Strong generalist HR knowledge with the ability to manage complexity and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with HR information systems, process design, and change management methodologies.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Preferred
- Experience in leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with modern HR technologies and platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
