The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and well-qualified Maths Teacher to join a passionate and knowledgeable team. This role offers the chance to teach A-level content from the start and to make a meaningful impact on students who are eager to learn and achieve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across a range of year groups, including Year 12 A-level content
  • Foster a love of Mathematics through engaging and innovative teaching methods
  • Support students in developing their mathematical skills and confidence
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance departmental teaching and learning
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extra-curricular Mathematics activities
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through pastoral and co-curricular involvement
  • Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and pedagogy

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • Willingness to teach Year 12 A-level content from the start
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level
  • Commitment to student achievement and professional development

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Further Mathematics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with using digital tools in the classroom
  • Background in extra-curricular or pastoral work
  • ECTs are very welcome to apply
