The Opportunity:
As an HRIS and Payroll Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s HR functions by managing HRIS systems, processing payroll, and ensuring accurate and efficient HR data management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in HR or transition from administration into this field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
- Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Develop and run queries and reports from HRIS to support HR decision-making.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data with discretion.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support HR processes.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to ensure smooth HR operations.
- Assist with the administration of HR processes, including employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Analyze data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience managing an HRIS system and building reports.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in HRIS platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred
- Previous experience in HR or payroll administration.
- Knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
- Experience with payroll software or systems.
- Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
- Interest in developing a career in HR.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £26,403 - £28,142 (FTE & Actual).
