Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures individual strengths and learning styles.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including EAL, gifted, and students requiring additional support.
• Integrate technology and innovative approaches to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Assess, record, and communicate student progress effectively, using data to inform teaching and personalised support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and refine IB-aligned curriculum plans, resources, and assessments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in subject specialism.
• A minimum of 3 years of solid and demonstrable experience teaching, ideally within an IB Curriculum School.

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Strong A-Level experience (highly valued for Secondary roles).
• Passion for inspiring young learners through innovative and inquiry-based teaching.
