Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures individual strengths and learning styles.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including EAL and gifted students.
• Integrate technology and innovative approaches to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Assess, record, and communicate student progress effectively, using data to inform teaching and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and refine IB-aligned curriculum plans and assessments.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through co-curricular activities and community initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in French specialism.
• A minimum of 3 years of solid and demonstrable experience teaching Primary French.
• The ability to inspire young learners through innovative and inquiry-based teaching.
• A commitment to upholding the values of a leading international school.

Preferred

• Experience teaching IB PYP.
• Experience working within an IB curriculum school.
