Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Islamic education to both native and non-native students across primary and secondary phases.
• Collaborate with middle leaders and the Head of Department to develop and implement the department’s strategic plan.
• Oversee and support IBT assessments to ensure students achieve outstanding results.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that aligns with the school's ethos of Positive Education.
• Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student growth and development.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices.
• Utilise innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Support the delivery of Signature Programmes and other unique educational initiatives offered by the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• At least 4 years of experience teaching in an international school.
• A degree in Islamic Studies, such as B.Ed., B.A., or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to teach Islamic studies to both native and non-native students.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Attested qualifications from the UAE Embassy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dubai.
• Completed equivalisation process for qualifications.

Preferred

• Experience with Positive Education and the "Values in Action" TM programme.
• Familiarity with the National Curriculum of England and international assessment standards.
• Experience with integrating technology and AI into teaching and learning.
• Background in co-curricular activities and student leadership development.
