The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers the chance to inspire students across KS3 and KS4, shaping their language skills and academic success in a dynamic and supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Spanish to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, tailoring lessons to different abilities.
- Develop and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching of languages and share best practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching methods.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through individualised guidance and encouragement.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and engagement.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Spanish at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for language education.
- Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching a range of abilities and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with digital tools and resources for language teaching.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
