The Opportunity:
As an ICT Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality IT services and support that enable seamless teaching, learning, and school operations. This role is essential to maintaining a secure, efficient, and up-to-date digital environment that supports the school’s educational priorities and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of IT services, including operational support and project management.
- Ensure network security and connectivity to meet the needs of the curriculum and school priorities.
- Mentor and support less experienced colleagues, including IT apprentices.
- Collaborate with IT professionals across the Trust to develop and implement IT projects.
- Provide technical assistance to staff and students, ensuring systems run smoothly.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of IT infrastructure and services.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT-related initiatives and training programs.
- Maintain and update IT systems to ensure they meet current standards and requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong technical background and relevant qualifications or significant professional experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in IT support and network management.
Preferred
- Experience in education or a similar sector.
- Knowledge of teaching and learning technologies.
- Experience with mentoring or training others.
- Familiarity with IT projects and collaboration across multi-site organizations.
