The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the academic and pastoral development of students within your key stage.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes and engagement.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
- Foster a culture of high achievement, behaviour management, and positive relationships.
- Promote the school's values and vision through effective leadership and role modelling.
- Develop and maintain strong, sustainable routines that support student independence and resilience.
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure alignment with school-wide goals and initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a leadership role within education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and support student welfare and academic progress.
- Commitment to the school's values, including respect, trust, and commitment.
- Experience in pastoral leadership and behaviour management.
Preferred
- Experience in a secondary school setting.
- Familiarity with the Co-op Group values and ethos.
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and across different departments.
