As an Inclusion Teacher - Prep, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver personalised support and foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide small group and 1:1 support for students with special educational needs.
• Deliver targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Contribute to the planning and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Co-plan, co-deliver, and co-assess lessons with subject teachers.
• Adapt curriculum content to meet individual learning needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding student progress.
• Collaborate with external therapists and specialists to support student needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with experience in a Prep or Primary School.
• Further qualifications or training in SEND, such as the National Award/NPQ for SEN Coordination.
• Experience supporting students with special educational needs.
• Familiarity with UK curriculum expectations and inclusive practices.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development in inclusive education.

Preferred

• Experience planning and delivering individualised interventions.
• Experience contributing to IEPs and pupil reviews.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Proactive, flexible, and solutions-focused approach.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and inclusive education.
