Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative physical education lessons across Key Stage 2, 3, I/GCSE, and A Level.
• Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship through a variety of sports, including netball, athletics, and swimming.
• Support the school’s extracurricular activities program and contribute to the wider campus life.
• Utilize technology and modern teaching methods to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum aligned with Positive Education principles.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to continuously improve teaching practices.
• Work closely with students, parents, and other staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum of a B.Ed. or equivalent qualification, with a B.A. and PGCE or QTS.
• Proven experience teaching Physical Education at Key Stage 2, 3, I/GCSE, and A Level.
• Experience in teaching swimming and delivering UK sports, such as netball and athletics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to Positive Education and character development.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and take on leadership responsibilities.

Preferred

• Experience with technology in teaching and learning, including the use of educational apps.
• Background in delivering extracurricular activities and sports programs.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum of England and international assessment standards.
• Experience in a school setting with a focus on student well-being and holistic development.
