Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality Computer Science and IT lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Utilise innovative teaching methods and cutting-edge technology to enhance student learning.
• Support the implementation of the Vocational ICT program with full backing from the Subject Director.
• Provide instant, actionable feedback to students using AI-driven tools to reduce marking workload.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student success and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching and learning.
• Stay up to date with curriculum developments and integrate new strategies to enhance student performance.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to grow as an educator and leader in the field.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in IT and Computer Science education.
• Strong understanding of curriculum developments in the subject area.
• Ability to use a range of teaching and learning strategies to ensure student success.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience with the Vocational ICT qualification and KS3 curriculum.
• Familiarity with AI-driven marking systems and adaptive learning technologies.
• Leadership experience in a school or department setting.
• Experience in developing and leading new programs or initiatives.
