The Opportunity:

As a Sixth Form Administrator and UCAS Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting students through the university application process and managing administrative tasks within the sixth form. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the UCAS application process for sixth form students.
  • Provide guidance and support to students and parents throughout the university application journey.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student applications and progress.
  • Liaise with teachers, pastoral staff, and external institutions to ensure smooth university admissions processes.
  • Organize and deliver information sessions and workshops on university applications and career planning.
  • Support the overall administration of the sixth form, including managing timetables, events, and student records.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and outcomes related to university applications.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and data analysis to support the school’s academic and pastoral strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in a similar administrative or support role within education.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using administrative software and UCAS system.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in record-keeping.

Preferred

  • Experience in coordinating university applications or working with sixth form students.
  • Knowledge of the UCAS system and university admissions processes.
  • Experience in a school environment, particularly within a sixth form team.
  • Demonstrable ability to support students through complex academic and personal challenges.
