The Opportunity:

As an IT Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the school's IT infrastructure and supporting both staff and students. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in both Windows and Chromebook systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day maintenance of the school's IT infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor device issues for staff and students.
  • Support training in the use of IT equipment for staff and students.
  • Liaise with external insurance and repair companies when necessary.
  • Ensure all IT systems are functioning efficiently and securely.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of new devices and software.
  • Provide technical support during school hours and as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of all IT-related incidents and resolutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience with both Windows and Chromebook systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff and students.
  • Full-time availability with a standard working week.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management systems.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and security protocols.
  • Experience with software deployment and remote support tools.
