The Opportunity:
As a Job Coach, you will play a vital role in helping autistic young people develop essential workplace skills and transition into meaningful employment. You will work at LEGOLAND Windsor, providing on-the-job support and training as part of a supported internship programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised, on-site job coaching and training to interns within the host business
- Support interns in building confidence, independence, and workplace skills
- Collaborate with LEGOLAND Windsor managers and staff to promote inclusive employment practices
- Maintain regular communication with parents and carers to monitor progress and address support needs
- Track intern progress against agreed outcomes and contribute to reviews and reports
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and professional workplace standards
- Support interns in transitioning to sustained paid employment where possible
- Work closely with a team of professionals to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to each intern
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience supporting young people or adults with additional needs, disabilities, or barriers to employment
- Understanding of autism and inclusive employment practices (or willingness to learn)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible, solution-focused approach to problem-solving
Preferred
- Experience in coaching or mentoring roles
- Background in education or social care
- Knowledge of supported employment models
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
