The school is dedicated to supporting autistic young people aged 16–25 through personalised education and real-world work experience. It operates with a person-centred approach, fostering independence and community integration.

The Opportunity:

As a Job Coach, you will play a vital role in helping autistic young people develop essential workplace skills and transition into meaningful employment. You will work at LEGOLAND Windsor, providing on-the-job support and training as part of a supported internship programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised, on-site job coaching and training to interns within the host business
  • Support interns in building confidence, independence, and workplace skills
  • Collaborate with LEGOLAND Windsor managers and staff to promote inclusive employment practices
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and carers to monitor progress and address support needs
  • Track intern progress against agreed outcomes and contribute to reviews and reports
  • Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and professional workplace standards
  • Support interns in transitioning to sustained paid employment where possible
  • Work closely with a team of professionals to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to each intern

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience supporting young people or adults with additional needs, disabilities, or barriers to employment
  • Understanding of autism and inclusive employment practices (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible, solution-focused approach to problem-solving

Preferred

  • Experience in coaching or mentoring roles
  • Background in education or social care
  • Knowledge of supported employment models
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
