Key Responsibilities:

• Support engaging classroom activities tailored to the needs of students with autism
• Prepare and manage learning resources to enhance pupil engagement and success
• Encourage independence, confidence, and self-belief in students
• Provide emotional and physical support with empathy and care
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Collaborate closely with teachers and specialists to support student development
• Assist in adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or additional needs
• GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) desirable

Preferred

• Experience in both indoor and outdoor learning environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to supporting the personal and academic development of students
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, student-focused setting
