Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and challenging lessons for Key Stage 1 students.
• Implement and assess the National Curriculum of England with high standards and expectations.
• Support student development through a thematic, skills-based approach to learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development and training to enhance teaching practice.
• Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A good bachelor’s degree and PGCE qualification from a reputable UK university.
• Experience of teaching the English National Curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of Primary Assessment.
• Commitment to developing your career with ongoing professional development.
• A positive, creative, and professional attitude towards teaching and learning.
• Willingness to support colleagues and contribute to the school’s success.

Preferred

• Experience with Talk 4 Writing and Read-Write-Inc teaching programmes.
• Experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
• Previous experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Experience in delivering specialist subjects such as Arabic, Islamic Studies, or Music.
