Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Key Stage 1 lessons that meet curriculum requirements and promote student achievement.
- Plan and prepare high-quality teaching resources and learning materials that support pupil progress.
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching and learning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
- Support the school’s leadership programme by modelling and encouraging leadership skills in students.
- Engage with parents and carers to keep them informed of student progress and school initiatives.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong understanding of statutory requirements for Key Stage 1
- Proven experience in delivering outstanding attainment and achievement
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and creatively engage learners
Preferred
- Experience of working in a school with a leadership specialism
- Background in a faith-based educational setting
- Experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication and organisational skills
