Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching staff in delivering high-quality instruction and learning activities.
• Assist in creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Monitor and record student progress and communicate regularly with teaching staff.
• Promote positive behaviour and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement school-wide initiatives and strategies.
• Participate in professional development and staff training sessions.
• Assist with administrative tasks and general classroom organisation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant experience in a teaching or learning support role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to student wellbeing and a restorative approach to behaviour management.
• Basic understanding of curriculum and teaching practices.

Preferred

• Experience working with students of all abilities and backgrounds.
• Familiarity with inclusive education and differentiated instruction.
• Experience with behaviour management strategies.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
