The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reflective Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our Prep School. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners and contribute to a school that values academic excellence, creativity, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote academic excellence and a love of learning.
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to support student progress and achievement.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and resilience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Engage with parents and carers to support student development and maintain open lines of communication.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities and school events to enhance the overall student experience.
  • Stay up to date with educational research and trends to ensure teaching practices remain innovative and effective.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Key Stage 2 education.
  • Strong commitment to academic excellence and student development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.
  • Experience in curriculum planning and assessment.

Preferred

  • Experience with digital innovation and technology in the classroom.
  • Involvement in co-curricular activities or extracurricular programmes.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL).
  • Leadership or mentoring experience within a school setting.
