Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student progress and personal development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a positive and supportive working environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities, including sport, art, music, and drama.
  • Support the school’s mission to cultivate a learning community that aspires to excellence in all aspects of life.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Engage with parents and carers to support student learning and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Key Stage 2 or a closely related role.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons.
  • Commitment to the school’s mission and values, including a focus on personal development and academic excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a leadership or subject co-ordinator role.
  • Experience with professional development and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Knowledge of innovative teaching methods and technologies.
