Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality science lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
  • Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives.

  • Stay up-to-date with scientific developments and integrate new teaching methodologies and technologies into lessons.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a B.Ed., B.A. & PGCE, and QTS.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 3 Science.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to Positive Education and character development in students.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods such as AR/VR or AI integration in science lessons.
  • Background in environmental or sustainability education.
  • Experience in developing and delivering extracurricular science programs.
  • Familiarity with Signature Programmes or STEAM initiatives.
