Key Stage Two Group Tutor needed for September 2026. Support pupils in Years Three and Four with high-quality teaching.

The Opportunity:
As a Key Stage Two Group Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils in Years Three and Four. You will work within a team, delivering engaging lessons that encourage individual progress and achievement. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of each pupil.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and specialist teachers in subjects such as Sport, Music, and French.
- Support pupils in developing a positive attitude towards learning and achieving their full potential.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline in the classroom.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Prepare and manage resources to support effective teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Key Stage Two pupils.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility for pupil progress.
Preferred
- Experience with inclusive teaching strategies.
- Knowledge of the Catholic ethos and values.
- Experience with curriculum development.
- Experience with pastoral care and supporting pupil well-being.
- Experience with using technology in the classroom.
