The Opportunity:

As a Kitchen Porter, you will support the smooth running of the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, washing dishes, and assisting with basic food preparation. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, team-focused, and keen to contribute to a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and canteen environment
  • Wash and clean dishes, utensils, and equipment to the highest standard
  • Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation as required
  • Follow instructions accurately and complete tasks efficiently
  • Work flexibly and adapt to a busy, changing environment
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and in accordance with health and safety guidelines
  • Support the team in maintaining a welcoming and orderly service area
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
