The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to join our Prep team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners and contribute to a dynamic, forward-thinking school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the full range of primary subjects.
  • Support the development of independent, resilient, and lifelong learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the co-curricular and community life of the school.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with parents and other staff to support student well-being and achievement.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all students.
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and well-organised classroom environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
  • Proven ability to teach across Key Stage 1.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s values and mission.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a co-curricular or extracurricular setting.
  • Knowledge of innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
