Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the full range of primary subjects.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support the academic and personal development of students across all year groups in Key Stage 2.
  • Contribute to the wider co-curricular and community life of the school.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent delivery of the school’s values and curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans where required.
  • Maintain accurate records and report regularly to parents and senior staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
  • Proven ability to teach across Key Stage 2 and a range of primary subjects.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to the school’s values and ethos.

Preferred

  • Experience in a co-curricular or community-based role.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Previous experience in a school with a strong co-curricular programme.
