The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher (Full-Time) to inspire and educate students from Year 7 to Year 11. The role offers the potential to teach A level for the right candidate, and the successful individual will be expected to make a real difference in students' lives and support the school’s ethos of high expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to students across multiple key stages
  • Ensure the progression and achievement of all students through effective teaching and assessment
  • Support the school’s commitment to high academic standards and student development
  • Participate in the full range of extra-curricular and pastoral activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
  • Provide pastoral care and guidance to students where appropriate
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through involvement in events and initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A good, relevant degree and a PGCE
  • Commitment to the school's ethos of high expectations and student achievement
  • Ability to teach mathematics to students from Year 7 to Year 11
  • Willingness to support the development of students both academically and personally

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A level mathematics
  • Experience with newly qualified teachers and ECT training
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for education and a commitment to making a real difference in students’ lives
