Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching to KS1 students
  • Develop and implement a well-sequenced curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Create a classroom environment that is inclusive, stimulating, and supportive
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure continued development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and support continuous improvement
  • Participate in staff development and training opportunities
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS1 education
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred

  • Experience with early years or KS1 curriculum development
  • Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices
  • Experience in a Church of England school or similar setting
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire young learners
