The Opportunity:
We are seeking an inspiring KS2 Class Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic team. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children while developing your teaching skills and potentially taking on a leadership role in Computing or Humanities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and specialist staff to support pupil progress.
- Plan and assess effectively, utilising the school’s resources and support systems.
- Take on additional leadership responsibilities in Computing or Humanities, if applicable, including curriculum development and staff training.
- Promote the school’s values of high expectations, challenge, and well-being across the school community.
- Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS2 teaching.
- Strong commitment to inclusion and child well-being.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and a drive to make a positive impact on student learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
Preferred
- Experience in leading curriculum areas such as Computing or Humanities.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience with Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) roles or similar leadership positions.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
