The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and specialist staff to support pupil progress.
  • Plan and assess effectively, utilising the school’s resources and support systems.
  • Take on additional leadership responsibilities in Computing or Humanities, if applicable, including curriculum development and staff training.
  • Promote the school’s values of high expectations, challenge, and well-being across the school community.
  • Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS2 teaching.
  • Strong commitment to inclusion and child well-being.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for teaching and a drive to make a positive impact on student learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading curriculum areas such as Computing or Humanities.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience with Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) roles or similar leadership positions.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
