Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or Key Stage 1 (KS1).
  • Strong understanding of curriculum design and delivery, with a focus on direct instruction and knowledge-rich pedagogy.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour and conduct in the classroom.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive school culture.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a ‘warm/strict’ approach to behaviour management.
  • Experience in delivering a rich and creative curriculum with a focus on cultural enrichment.
  • Previous involvement in school-wide initiatives or leadership roles.
  • Experience in supporting pupils with diverse learning needs and backgrounds.
