The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled LAMDA Teacher to deliver engaging lessons one day per week. This role offers the chance to inspire young learners and foster confidence and communication skills through the LAMDA syllabus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality LAMDA lessons across a range of syllabi
- Inspire and nurture students to build confidence in drama and public speaking
- Support students of varying abilities, from beginners to advanced learners
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the drama and speech curriculum
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Ensure all teaching activities align with the school's educational and welfare standards
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience teaching drama, speech, or the LAMDA syllabus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred
- Experience teaching students of diverse abilities
- Passion for all aspects of speech and drama education
- Familiarity with LAMDA assessment criteria and performance standards
