Summary:

Seeking a passionate Middle School Teacher to inspire and educate students in Years 3 or 4.

The Opportunity:

As a Middle School Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a dynamic and engaging curriculum that fosters curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. You will also play a key pastoral role, supporting the academic and personal development of your form group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and achievement
  • Monitor and assess student progress using a range of formative and summative methods
  • Maintain accurate and systematic records of student achievement and development
  • Communicate regularly with parents through reports and meetings
  • Attend and contribute to year group meetings and planning sessions
  • Support the school’s mission by promoting the values of respect, confidence, and personal growth
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and legal requirements in all aspects of teaching and assessment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS status or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development for Years 3 and 4
  • Excellent knowledge of subject matter across the curriculum
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
  • Understanding of different learning styles and SEND Code of Practice
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection

Preferred

  • Experience in a preparatory or primary school setting
  • Strong ICT skills and experience with interactive teaching tools
  • Sympathetic to the Christian ethos of the school
  • Specialism in a co-curricular area
