The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Law Teacher to deliver high-quality A Level and BTEC Applied Law courses. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and educate enthusiastic learners in a supportive and well-resourced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons on A Level and BTEC Applied Law.
• Prepare and provide students with resources such as handouts, revision cards, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Support students in completing assignments and developing their understanding of legal concepts.
• Work collaboratively with the Law team to ensure consistent delivery of outstanding teaching.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help learners achieve their goals.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
• Engage with students through trips, visits, and guest speakers to enhance their learning experience.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Law at post-16 level.
• Strong subject knowledge in Law, including A Level and BTEC Applied Law.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience with newly qualified or recently qualified teachers.
• Post-16 teaching experience.
• Familiarity with using IT and digital resources in the classroom.
• Experience in developing and delivering engaging lesson plans.
