Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, inspiring English lessons that drive student progress and engagement
• Support the development of the English curriculum and pedagogy across the school
• Lead and mentor other English teachers, providing guidance and professional development
• Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and Faculty Director to shape school-wide initiatives
• Promote and manage a wide range of extra-curricular activities in English
• Monitor and assess student performance to ensure continuous improvement
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that reflects the school’s values
• Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS
• Proven experience in teaching English at secondary level
• Strong classroom management and leadership skills
• Commitment to student progress and extra-curricular involvement
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and senior leaders

Preferred

• Experience in a leadership or subject lead role
• Experience with cross-phase opportunities within a Multi Academy Trust
• Familiarity with the Windsor Academy Trust and its values
• Experience in developing and implementing curriculum strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
