Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality maths teaching that inspires and engages students.
- Support the development of maths curriculum and pedagogy across the school.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and Faculty Director to enhance teaching and learning.
- Mentor and coach colleagues to improve teaching standards and student outcomes.
- Lead and manage maths-related extra-curricular activities.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of professional learning opportunities for staff.
- Promote a culture of excellence, kindness, and respect within the maths faculty.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in maths education.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for maths.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Commitment to student progress and extra-curricular involvement.
- Experience working in a school environment, ideally within a Multi-Academy Trust.
Preferred
- Experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a school.
- Knowledge of maths curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Experience with professional development and staff training.
- Familiarity with cross-phase opportunities and collaboration.
