Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality maths teaching that inspires and engages students.
  • Support the development of maths curriculum and pedagogy across the school.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and Faculty Director to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Mentor and coach colleagues to improve teaching standards and student outcomes.
  • Lead and manage maths-related extra-curricular activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of professional learning opportunities for staff.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, kindness, and respect within the maths faculty.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in maths education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for maths.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to student progress and extra-curricular involvement.
  • Experience working in a school environment, ideally within a Multi-Academy Trust.

Preferred

  • Experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a school.
  • Knowledge of maths curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Experience with professional development and staff training.
  • Familiarity with cross-phase opportunities and collaboration.
