Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire creativity and technical skill
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental innovation
- Promote a culture of high expectations and outstanding behaviour for learning
- Support extracurricular opportunities such as exhibitions, competitions, and enrichment clubs
- Mentor and support other teachers within the department
- Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate them into teaching practice
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student achievement and engagement
- Maintain accurate records and assess student progress effectively
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Photography education
- Strong knowledge of photography techniques, digital media, and art disciplines
- Commitment to raising achievement for all students
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and leadership within a school setting
- Experience with extracurricular and enrichment activities
- Familiarity with industry-standard photography software and equipment
- Experience in a Catholic or faith-based educational environment
