Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire creativity and technical skill
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental innovation

  • Support extracurricular opportunities such as exhibitions, competitions, and enrichment clubs
  • Mentor and support other teachers within the department
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate them into teaching practice
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student achievement and engagement
  • Maintain accurate records and assess student progress effectively

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Photography education
  • Strong knowledge of photography techniques, digital media, and art disciplines
  • Commitment to raising achievement for all students
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development and leadership within a school setting
  • Experience with extracurricular and enrichment activities
  • Familiarity with industry-standard photography software and equipment
  • Experience in a Catholic or faith-based educational environment
