The Opportunity:

As the Lead Rowing Coach, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the J15 Squad as they transition to national-level competition. This is a unique opportunity to build coaching and leadership skills within a high-performing, well-supported school rowing program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the J15 Squad through training and competition, with a focus on performance and safety.
  • Ensure the wellbeing and safety of students during all sessions and events.
  • Foster the development of essential life skills such as time management, communication, and organisation.
  • Collaborate with the wider coaching team to support all age groups and integrate into club-wide activities.
  • Plan and execute training sessions, competitions, and events throughout the season.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in rowing coaching, with a strong understanding of the sport.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Commitment to student safety, wellbeing, and development.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred

  • Experience in coaching at a national level.
  • Leadership experience within a team or squad environment.
  • Knowledge of youth development and sports psychology.

Compensation & Benefits:
