Learning Support Assistant needed for part-time term time role at a forward-thinking school.

The Opportunity:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism in a dynamic and innovative educational setting. This is a unique opportunity to work with passionate students and contribute to the delivery of a high-quality, STEM-focused curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with Autism in both 1:1 and small group settings.
- Assist in delivering a structured and engaging learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop individual learning plans.
- Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
- Provide emotional and academic support to help students achieve their full potential.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
- Maintain accurate records of student activities and progress.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working with students with Autism or special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student welfare.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently in a busy school environment.
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths).
- Experience with 1:1 and small group teaching support.
- Familiarity with the UTC model of education.
